When it comes to Jam I am 100% a Jam lover. I don’t think there is anything better than a crisp piece of toast slathered in butter and Jam. This White Peach Chia Jam is the secret to an easy yet tasty Jam that keeps the sugar in check but doesn’t lack flavor. It locks in the flavors of summer fruit and gives a little additional nutrition with each bite.

This jam can be made with any in season peak ripeness fruits. You really can’t go wrong with any fruit that you pick. The chia seeds soak up the flavor and create the jam like consistency.

White Peach Chia Jam Ingredients

  • 2 med/large Ripe White Peaches (can be subbed for other fruit)
  • 2 Tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1 Tbsp Organic Bourbon Barrel Aged Vermont Maple Syrup Trader Joe’s

Recipe Directions

Place peaches in boiling water for 2 minutes, remove and rinse with cold water. Once cool enough to handle, peel off skin, cut in half and remove seeds.

Place peaches in blender or Cuisinart Food Processor. Blend until only a couple small chunks remain or if you like your jam super smooth, blend until smooth.

Pour into a bowl & add chia seeds and maple syrup, stir until thoroughly combined. Allow to rest for 10 min to allow chia to fully absorb and expand.

This chia jam will last fresh in the fridge for about a week. You can also freeze and defrost when you are wanting to use the rest.

Ideas on how to use the White Peach Chia Jam

  • Top a piece of toasted bread
  • Add to any kind of plain yogurt to add a fruit without all the added sugar usually in the fruit yogurts.
  • Top grilled meats with the jam.
