This meal is unreal so prepare yourself for bites of deliciousness. I mean what a flavor combo this dish provides! Trust me, these are the zoodles you want on your plate! I am always looking for meals that take little time to make and this recipe definitely fits the bill. Let’s get to the recipe so you can get this on your plate asap!

I created a similar sauce a week ago with friends and it was a big hit. I found myself craving the exact meal again but with slightly different ingredients and WOW I love how it turned out. This meal is so simple with the ingredients yet it doesn’t skimp on flavors. Be prepared to use ALL of your garden-fresh zucchini for this meal from here on out. No, seriously I am warning you now.

This recipe is 99.9% Trader Joe’s items since you know my love for TJ’s. I always have Trader Joe’s ingredients on hand to whip up a quick meal. The bruschetta is one of my favorites and adds a ton of flavor to any meal. The Herbs de Provence is a must-have, at least in my opinion. The herbs that are included add that herby deliciousness that I crave in my recipes. Finishing the zoodle dish with the show-stopping chili onion crunch sauce and drizzle of balsamic glaze is a MUST in my mind. The combo of spicy and sweet just makes each bite pop! If you haven’t tried these, grab them, they are a staple in our house.

Meat Sauce & Zoodle Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Pork, I love to use McIntyre Pastures. A local farm here in Idaho where you can taste the quality of their farming in every bite.
  • Drizzle Avocado oil from Chosen Foods
  • Remaining ingredients are from Trader Joe’s
  • 2 containers Bruschetta
  • 2 Tbsp Herbs de Province
  • Onion diced
  • Jar fire roasted bell peppers, diced
  • Container burrata cheese
  • 1 container mushrooms, I like shiitake, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • Jar chili onion crunch sauce
  • bottle balsamic glaze
  • 2 Fresh zucchini from my garden, zoodled
  • Fresh basil from my garden

It might look like a long list of ingredients to make these zoodles but this dish really comes together so easily. It is a one-pot recipe that packs the flavor. So don’t worry yourself too much. Just grab the ingredients and give these what I am deeming “the zoodles to have on your plate” a try.

Recipe Instructions

Start with a large pot. I love to use my large Le Creuset for most of my recipes because it cooks evenly and cleans effortlessly. Place heat on medium to medium/low, this just helps make sure the ingredients don’t burn as you add them. Add in the minced garlic and diced onion and saute until fragrant. Add in the sliced mushrooms and diced red bell peppers and saute once again. Allow everything to mingle before pouring in both containers of the bruschetta. Let the pot simmer for a couple of minutes allowing the new flavors to merge with the rest of the ingredients. Add in your fresh basil, I like to roughly slice mine before adding, it enhances the basil flavor. Place heat on low and allow the sauce to simmer while you zoodle the zucchini and get it ready for eating.

In a separate pot place the zucchini zoodles. You can also place them on a towel to allow excess moisture to come off before adding them to the pot. I personally just place the zoodles right in but if you are craving more oil you can add a little drizzle to keep them from sticking. I saute my noodles for only a couple of minutes, I want them to still have a little bite to them. Remove from heat and start to plate.

Start with the zoodles, add the meat sauce, burrata, drizzle of balsamic glaze, and chili onion crunch sauce. I love all of these toppings but feel free to switch them up depending on your personal preference. And that is it my friend! I can’t wait for you to give this dish a try. Be sure to let me know how you like it! I love receiving feedback and comments on my recipes. Always striving to be better and serve up recipes you love.
