Simple Homemade Summer Prosciutto Pizza Directions
I tend to like things crispy so I preheat the oven to 400 and place the frozen pizza dough right on the oven rack. I also prepped my tomatoes and basil with a drizzle of olive oil to get them to blister & cook. I lined a baking sheet with the prosciutto and also placed it in the oven. Everything cooked for about 5-10 minutes until the crust was warm and starting to crisp around the edges, the prosciutto was crisp and tomatoes blistered. I then removed everything and started to build my pizza. Starting with pesto, then crispy prosciutto, cherry tomatoes, and finished with sliced burrata.
I placed the pizza back in the oven right on the oven racks but this time placed a baking sheet underneath to catch any dripping. I let the whole pizza cook on 400 for 10 minutes, removed, drizzled with balsamic glaze & red pepper flakes & enjoyed! This Monteli organic pizza crust is hands down my favorite frozen crust. It tastes amazing and crisps up just how I like it.
