These hot honey, peach, goat cheese crostini are seriously hard to keep your hands off of. Hot honey mixed in with the creamy goat cheese, ripe, juicy peaches all on a crispbread, yum! I can’t write that sentence without starting to drool. The goat cheese combined with the rest of the flavors and textures makes this a must make.

I was able to get my hands on some honey babe peaches and I am so glad that I did. Upgrading this recipe with bacon, garlic sourdough loaf made locally by Bake_Her. I had considered smoking some bacon but with it baked right in the loaf, there was no need.

This goat cheese peach crostini is so easy to make, ingredients are simple, yet it packs a flavor punch. Let’s get started with how to make the hot honey and move through the recipe together.

Hot Honey Ingredients

  • 1 ( 5 oz ) log plain goat cheese
  • 2 tsp Chili onion crunch ( I use the one from Trader Joe’s )
  • 1 Tbsp Honey ( I use McIntyre Pastures, the best honey, and they ship)

Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix until creamy.

Peach Crostini Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of bread, I loved the sourdough
  • 2-3 peaches depending on size.

Next, you will grab your bread of choice and slice it to thin, to medium-sized slices of bread. You want it to be crispy but still have a nice bite of bread to it. You can use a toaster, toaster oven, or regular oven on broil to crisp your bread. Use whatever is easiest for you and the one that will make the best crisp crostini pieces.

As you are toasting your bread, you want to wash and slice your peaches. Make the crostini as soon as it comes out of the toaster or oven. You want the crostini to be warm to melt the goat cheese.

Assembling the hot honey, peach, goat cheese crostini

Place the crisp crostini on a plate and start to spread the goat cheese equally on the pieces. It’s important to not skimp, you want a good amount in each bite. Start to layer the peach slices on each crostini. You want to make sure to get a good amount of peach in each bite. Once layered you are good to go, don’t waste any time, I promise you will want to dig in immediately.
