Are you ready for my personal list of the best breakfast sandwiches in Boise? I have to admit I absolutely love a great breakfast sandwich. I might be biased, but honestly think Boise has some of the best! I’ve taken friends from out of town to these places, and they too have loved the sandwiches.
I personally love to find places that are serving up breakfast sandwiches with all the ingredients. A sandwich that has proteins, greens, epic sauces, need I say more? Let’s get to the list of places serving up these breakfast sandwiches, so you too can enjoy this deliciousness!
Certified Kitchen & Bakery
1511 N. 13th Street Boise, Idaho 83702
“Certified Kitchen + Bakery opened the space formerly occupied by Certified Inc. Rug & Furniture Cleaners in Hyde Park. The restaurant is the second concept from Lizzy and David Rex, who successfully opened The Wylder in 2017. Breakfast and lunch are served counter-service-style, with additional bakery and catering options. The cozy space offers bar seating and bistro tables, but the takeaway style menu allows Boisean’s to keep adventuring. The 52-year-old sourdough starter used for their pizza dough at The Wylder makes an appearance in the form of English muffins for stacked breakfast sandwiches. Lighter breakfast items (think chia seed puddings), baked goods (cookies and cakes), butcher-style sandwiches (pulled pork and brisket on fresh bread), and fresh salads are offered on a rotating basis.”

Certified Kitchen & Bakery Breakfast has three options for breakfast sandwiches. Signature Egg Sandwich, Certified Breakfast Sandwich, and their Croque Madame. I love the Certified Breakfast Sandwich which comes with egg, arugula, white cheddar, Fresno creme fraiche, and I add bacon, avocado, and tomato. I especially enjoy their sourdough English muffins that taste incredible and really make this sandwich! It can be enjoyed at Certified or a great grab-and-go breakfast sandwich.
Nomad Bev Co.
603 S Capitol Blvd
Boise, Idaho 83702
Nomad Bev Co is located right downtown and allows for an easy breakfast on your morning commute. Or, pop in for a quick work lunch break, or after-work snack and drink. There’s never a wrong time to enjoy the goodness that Nomad Bev Co. is serving up.

Nomad Bev Co. is serving up the Huck & Jambon sandwich, an eggless breakfast sandwich. This sandwich starts with a fresh croissant, french ham, arugula, huckleberry pinot sauce, goat cheese mousse, pickled onion, and whole grain mustard. The flavor combos that are combined in every bite is phenomenal. I love this sandwich and the ingredients that bring it all together. I can’t wait for you to give it a try, it’s unlike anything you’ve ever tasted.
Primal Coffee Boise
20 N Latah Boise, Idaho 83706
Primal Coffee Boise might be known for their incredible wood-roasted, organic, fair-trade peaberry coffee. I have to admit they are quickly becoming known for their EPIC breakfast sandwich. Tucked into a small space on the Boise bench, Primal Coffee is a must-visit spot in town. I have taken numerous friends, and each one agrees that the primal coffee and breakfast sandwich are some of the best they’ve ever had.

Primal Coffee Boise nailed it with this breakfast sandwich. Starting with a ham and cheese croissant from Gastons, a local bakery. It is then stacked with a poached egg, avocado, sharp cheddar, tomatoes, arugula & an insanely delicious sauce. This chipotle tabasco sauce is seriously addicting and unquestionably one of the best I’ve had! I would buy a container if they started selling this sauce, it is that good! Get Primal Coffee on your list of must-go places in Boise, I promise you won’t regret it!
Crisp Food Truck
“We’re Crisp Food Truck, and we’ve been a local catering service and food truck here in Boise, ID, since 2017. We provide globally-inspired gourmet cuisine, offering pork belly tacos, coconut curry noodles, artisanal sandwiches, and more! We started this business to provide locally sourced global cuisine to our community. We’re looking forward to growing our business to continue to serve Boise and the surrounding communities.”

Firstly, how can you not drool over that photo? The crisp breakfast sandwich is particularly beautiful to look at while being delicious. Egg, sausage, goat cheese, thickly sliced tomatoes, greens, and olive tapenade make up this sandwich. They are parked at the farmers market every Saturday and can be booked for private events as well.
A’ Tavola
1515 W Grove Street Boise, Idaho 83702
A’ Tavola is a gourmet marketplace and cafe right in the heart of downtown Boise. You walk in the door and are immediately welcomed by incredible smells, products, and friendly staff. A full menu of offerings to sit and enjoy or a stocked fridge and freezer for take-and-bake items. A’ Tavola is a truly one-stop shop for everything you could ever want.

Tavola has two breakfast sandwiches that they are serving up! The first is their traditional breakfast sandwich with Gaston’s brioche bun, egg omelet, applewood smoked bacon, black forest ham, mayo, lettuce & tomato. The second is their spicy breakfast sandwich. Brioche bun, cheesy egg omelet, avocado, bacon, grilled pasilla chile, jalapeno aioli, lettuce, tomato, bread and butter jalapenos, and crunchy fried jalapenos. Both sandwiches as you can see are loaded with delicious ingredients and should not be missed!
Trailside Bakery Cafe
2919 W State Street Boise, Idaho 83702
This darling bakery and cafe is nestled in Boise and offers real food, created and served with kindness. A warm and inviting place to enjoy a home-cooked meal or freshly baked bakery item. I have been multiple times to this lovely bakery cafe and tend to stay for hours because it is just so inviting. I have had breakfast, lunch, coffee, tea, and snacks, I think I’ve tried it all and can report back that it’s been delicious. Be sure to check out this cute trailside bakery cafe.

Trailside Bakery is serving up an incredible breakfast sandwich “the classic” and locally sourced ingredients. Acme sourdough bread with fried eggs from McIntyre Pastures, bacon, tomato, greens, avocado, and dijon aioli. The eggs were cooked perfectly for the runniest yolk, which I personally love. Everything on this sandwich was so fresh and flavorful, I enjoyed every single bite and believe you will too!
