As we have been spending more time at home, I have been finding the things that really nourish my mind, body and soul. Settling fully into the slow mornings, craving the things that feel like rituals, the methodical movements that give a sense of familiarity. These 6 Steps to Radiant Skin are some of the ways in which I keep myself grounded, nourished and prepared to take on the day, and they aren’t just for you face.

I like to rotate my products seasonally, this allows for me to hand pick which products are supporting my skin best in the current conditions. I highly recommend having your favorite products plus a couple to rotate to keep your skin at its peak. Rotating products allows for your skin to be nourished in many ways and not get used to certain ingredients or products.

Dry Brushing has been a game changer for me. I love having it be the first step in the morning because it invigorates my body, wakes me up, opens my pores and prepares my skin for the shower! Here is the dry brush I have been using and loving, although I have been eyeing this whole set.

Follow dry brushing I jump in the shower to rinse off the sloughed skin & fully wake up after hours of wonderful sleep. I tend to turn the knob to cold a couple seconds before I get out to snag a few of these added physical & mental health benefits.

I love to mist my face choosing from the many wonderful facial mist toner I have on hand. Using facial mist toners really sets the stage for a spa like experience in your very own bathroom. I love all things rose so this rose geranium facial tonic has been a staple in my collection for as long as I can remember. Rose is known for balancing pH while geranium brightens the skin & they both moistures, so you get a double dose with this combo!

I also love rotating through different facial mists depending on what my skin is calling for and needing that morning. I might reach for Lavender for its soothing skin qualities matched with the calming aroma. Geranium which speeds cell turnover & brightens your complexion. Neroli plumps the skin, balances oils, fights infection and is a powerful antibacterial.

If I can’t make up my mind I might reach for the everything spray because it quite literally can be used for everything. With the ingredients of lavender, witch hazel, organic apple cider vinegar, tea tree and magnesium oil, no wonder this is a power house mist creating radiant skin!

This might be one of the best parts of my morning! The smell of these oils is incredible and their healing properties. Blue Tansy, optimal for inflamed skin since it is a powerful anti-inflammatory. Lemongrass, mood boosting & uplifting, I use this one at night! Jasmine, oh the irresistible aroma of Jasmine, protects skin from stressors & has anti-aging properties. I personally gave up wearing any kind of perfume years ago & rotate between the jasmine & blue tansy on the daily.

Now, this next part depends on if I am leaving the house or not… I tend to be a go without deodorant girl if I am just staying in the comfort of my own home. I just like to let me skin, armpits, self be free of added products if I don’t have to wear them. If I am getting dressed and leaving then I quickly choose a deodorant to swipe on. A couple years back I decided to switch to a nontoxic, natural deodorant because I realized we have over 20, Yes! 20+ lymph nodes in our armpits. I definitely didn’t want to be putting toxins and chemicals readily available to be absorbed right in that little armpit.

I have to admit it took me a while to find a natural deodorant that could keep up with my sweaty, working out and teaching yoga self. But… I finally did and I am never turning back! Step #5

Ok! Now that our body has been nourished, back to the face we go! With the facial mist almost dry on our face I like to pick out a serum to take the party up a notch. I personally have the serum trio I didn’t want to experience FOMO by just picking one. The serums have soooooooo much goodness in each and every one of them. So, do yourself a favor & go check out the clarifying serum , soothing serum , plumping serum or the fancy face serum which is safe during pregnancy.

I put a couple drops on my forehead and both cheeks to get the serum evenly dispersed on my face. Don’t forget to send some down to your neck. Rub my hands together quickly to add a little heat and then rub the serum into the skin.

Step #6…. radiant skin is within reach!

This might be my favorite step in the 6 steps to radiant skin! I alternate using my Gua Sha Stone and Jade Roller daily. Sometimes using one in the morning and one at night before bed. This 6th step has become therapeutic, methodical & a ritual I look forward to every morning. Something about slowing down and intentionally moving the stones around your face and neck brings calmness to your whole body.

As soon as I’m done with my Gua Sha or Jade roller I add extra magic under my eyes. I have found two products that I swear by and bookends my skincare routine. The first is which might sound odd is this baby balm. Now, here me out! This velvety, rich in deeply moisturizing ingredients has been a game changer for my under eyes. I just dab a small amount with my finger tips right under my eyes and let it do the work. Secondly, this matcha moisture stick that I easily swipe under my eyes is magic made in heaven! I have seen a huge differences with my under eye puffiness, dark circles or my chapped lips.
